UPSTAIRS
UPSTAIRS is a new space in Amsterdam that showcases and promotes jewellery, product design and art.
Located on one of the upper floors of the iconic Piraeus building by architect Hans Kollhoff in the eastern harbour area of Amsterdam, UPSTAIRS offers a unique setting for exhibitions, events and encounters with contemporary design.
The space serves as both a gallery and an open studio — a place where the creative process is as visible as the finished work.
The people behind UPSTAIRS are Alisdair Mills and Jantje Fleischhut. Together they bring a shared passion for design, craftsmanship, and the intersection of art and everyday life.
